Risk Assessment Management
As part of managing health and safety within your business its important that you control risks within your work place to include when suppliers and contractors are asked to work on site.
By choosing OKEL as your preferred contractor you will have reassurance in knowing that we understand the importance of assessing workplace risks and will work closely with you in the time leading up to the installation to ensure the right safety measures have been put in place to reduce the risks of work place dangers to both employees and visitors to site.
Risk Assessment and Method Statement
Prior to installation a lead engineer will visit site to approve all works and complete an assessment of potential risks associated with the installation.
Please note, for premises that were built prior to the year 2000, OKEL will require a copy of the building’s asbestos report to identify risks associated and whether a specialist asbestos company are required to assist with the project.
Based on all findings, a risk assessment and supporting method statement will be produced for your project and sent to you for sign off, detailing all risks identified and measures to be put in place or rules to adhere to that will reduce these risks.
Local Site Induction
On Day 1 of works commencing OKEL will request that a representative from your organisation conducts a local site induction for our engineers. The purpose of this induction will be to make our team of engineers fully aware of any local risks / hazards and rules or procedures they must adhere to whilst working onsite.
