Mitsubishi air conditioning solution

OKEL were approached by our client who had recently acquired a new city centre premises which would be home to their 2nd Turkish BBQ restaurant in Liverpool.

The restaurant had a large south facing double fronted glass window positioned and a hot BBQ grill close to the diners seating area. 

 

Our client wanted a high efficiency air conditioning system that would keep temperatures in the dining area to a minimum allowing for a more comfortable experience for both diners and staff, whilst also looking aesthetically pleasing so to create a positive 1st impression for diners visiting the new restaurant. 

OKEL Solution

OKEL installed a High Efficiency Mitsubishi Air Conditioning System throughout the restaurant utilising a selection of wall and ceiling mounted cassettes.

Mitsubishi was chosen as a leading manufacturer of cooling products. Offering the most advanced range of cooling products for complete design flexibility, built using only quality components and with significantly lower sound levels than other manufacturers units.

The units are available in a range of kws, each with its own cooling and heating capacity, and with an outstanding CoP (Coefficient or Performance) rating that provides substantial savings on energy bills, with units running as lean as is possible.

An added benefit of the air conditioning system is its dual purpose which allows for cooling in the summer months and the added advantage of producing warmth in the winter months when the restaurant may benefit from additional heat.

Installation and hand over

To ensure no disruption to our client’s busy lunch time and evening trade, our team of engineers supported an out of hours installation working between the hours of midnight and 10am.

Upon project completion our lead engineers arranged a handover with our client’s staff to ensure they were confident on the capabilities of the new equipment and able to maximise the efficiencies by effective use of the intelligent thermostatic controls.
